BLOT AP-BLOT ELITE

Product Line

Automatic Processor BLOT

AP-BLOT ELITE is a tool for the automation of Dot Blots on strips, capable of automatically dispensing samples and reagents, incubating and reading the strips and generating the results by analyzing the images; the software provides for the creation of reports and their archiving. The processed strips are photographed directly in the incubation plates by a digital camera. The instrument locates the position of the strips, identifies the blots and measures their intensity providing a result. The program archives the images in a detailed report, making manual archiving of the processed strips no longer necessary. The instrument is equipped with an internal barcode reader for samples and a strip heater which allows you to reduce the drying times of the strips before reading

Barcode Reader Integrated barcode reader for samples
Strip Heater Reduces waiting time for reading (optional)
Sample Capacity 48 sample tubes Ø13 mm or Ø16 mm that can be used simultaneously
Reagent Container Trays for housing 10 reagent bottles of 100 ml and 8 positions for controls
Liquid Containers 2 tanks with wash buffer, Wash tank, and Waste tank, all equipped with a level sensor
Strip Plates 6 plates (8 strips per plate) to process 48 strips housed on a tilting plane
Processing From 1 to 48 strips
Liquid Handling One needle for dispensing and dilution, the other for aspiration during strip washing
Dispensing CV <0.1%, inaccuracy 1% at 100µl
Aspiration CV <0.3%, inaccuracy 1% at 100µl; minimum volume 5µl, resolution 1µl
Reading High-resolution color camera mounted on the needle group
Evaluation Image processing
